                   B&J Rocket Appoints New Key Account Manager
       Christian Wolf has been appointed as the new Key Account Manager at B&J Rocket Sales AG with effect from April 1st, 2021.
He will be responsible for the existing customer base in the tyre retreading industry in Germany and parts of Europe. In addition, he has been tasked with developing new markets for B&J buffing tools in these regions.
As a master of vulcanisation and tyre repair, Christian Wolf learned about tyre repair and retreading at an early age and brings a lot of experience to his new job. As a former operations and service centre manager, he is very familiar with the areas of quality assurance as well as customer care and acquisition.
Another focus of his task will be the marketing of the OTR tyre repair system Vulcaflex from Vulcan- Vulcap, based in Canada.
In his new position, Wolf reports
directly to General Manager Sales, Fredy Walther, who commented; "With Christian Wolf, we not only have a technically skilled and competent employee, but also a colleague who understands how important it is to maintain good communication with our customers."

Meanwhile, Perry Buckley has been appointed to the position of Sales & Business Development Director. He joined the company in January 2020 as Fleet Business Development Director bringing with him a wealth of experience.

at KRAIBURG Austria
KRAIBURG Austria have
announced that with
effect from 1st of April
2021, Thorsten Schmidt,
the long-standing CEO of
the company, is, after 36
years of continuous
employment, leaving the
operative company
executive to enter into
the passive phase of his semi-retirement. During
his career, the 63-year-old
has filled several leading positions in Production, Technical Service and Sales. He was appointed CEO at KRAIBURG Austria in 2012. Schmidt’s successor and the new CEO of KRAIBURG Austria is Stefan Mayrhofer. He will be supported by the previous authorised representative Erwin Hitzginger as deputy CEO.
After posts at Semperit Technical Products and Palfinger, Mayrhofer joined KRAIBURG in 2009 where he initially managed the business with

The company appointed him deputy CEO in 2012. “I am convinced that, under the new leadership, KRAIBURG Austria will stay a strong and major company in the markets in which they are active and will continue to develop successfully,” said Thorsten Schmidt. “I wish my successor Stefan Mayrhofer great success together with that portion of luck that is sometimes necessary to achieve ambitious goals.”
Vaculug has announced the appointment of Prem Devarajan as the new Chief Sustainability Officer for the company. Devarajan has been promoted internally from Zenises where he has been helping run the operations of the Group for several years. Prior to Zenises he had helped run operations for one of India’s largest multinational groups.
Commenting on his appointment, Devarajan said; “This is a proud moment for me to help Europe’s largest independent retreader improve its impact on the environment and create a more positive future for our children. I intend to focus very much on drivers of corporate performance that can be bolstered by sustainability strategies.
