First StopPromotes Bandag on Customer Trucks
First Stop in Germany has started 2021 with a new a dvertisement on the back of customer trucks. By the end of January, a total of 12 vehicles were carrying Bandag advertising on the rear of the vehicles. The aim was to advertise the company’s commercial vehicle tyre service and Bandag retreading in the catchment area of First Stop. “For the project, we specifically looked for satisfied users of our services and Bandag retreads. We want to further increase the awareness of First Stop as a professional service provider for
everything to do with commercial vehicle tyres,” explained Tino Schunath, Head of Product Group Management for Commercial Vehicles at First Stop. Since some of the trucks are also on the road across Germany, both the company's own branches and the commercial vehicle professionals from the First Stop partner system could benefit from the effect. Under the name First Stop, a total of 45 of its own branches as well as around 160 independent First Stop partners at 185 locations provide professional tyre and car
service in Germany. First Stop Reifen Auto Service GmbH, based in Friedberg, Hesse, has been
operating under the umbrella of the Pneuhage Group since June 2017
The Countdown to Tyrexpo Asia 2021 Continues
with Confidence
With around seven months to go until Tyrexpo Asia 2021 show in Singapore, it is very much ‘Business as Usual’ for exhibition organisers Tarsus thanks to the positive momentum created throughout the current Covid-19 pandemic.
Since the start of the year, Tarsus has already run several face-to-face events across key industry sectors in China with HOMETEX and in North America with OFFPRICE, both in the first quarter of 2021. This, they say, illustrates that even in such challenging times, live business shows can still take place within a safe and compliant environment.
Meanwhile, Alwin Seow, Events Director of Tarsus Group, is working together with the Singaporean Government and venue personnel to assure that the Tyrexpo Asia 2021 Show can take place in Singapore this November at the Marina Bay Sands Conference Centre. He says, “We are now under sevn months away from the event taking place, and currently we are working with government on safety management measures and understanding travel policies, adapting to the “new normal” and how we can better manage the physical event where local delegates can participate, network and have one-on-one meetings.”
