PRE-Q Galgo Corporation Names Ron Elliott Marketing Manager
It has been announced that Václav Šubrt , the founder of Czech retreader WETEST Pneu and a pioneer of precured retreading in the Czech Republic, has died. Šubrt founded WETEST in 1991, followed later by the WESTAR and BAWEL companies, which completed the Group‘s national coverage. As well as being a key player in the development of cold retreading, in which he was supported to a large degree by Kraiburg, Šubrt was also a key force behind the formation of the Czech Retreaders Association, which also later joined BIPAVER. PRE-Q Galgo Corporation has announced that Ron Elliott has been hired to be its marketing manager. In his new role, Elliott will be responsible for leading the marketing direction of the long- term growth strategy for the PRE-Q Galgo brand throughout the United States and Canada. He will also be responsible for driving new business development and special projects that are aligned with the companies strategic and aggressive growth plans. Elliott previously worked as marketing manager for Marangoni Tread North America and brings with him over 25 years of sales and marketing experience that spans across diverse industries.

AME International Hires Robin Maynard
Organisational Changes at Tatko
AME International, the leading supplier of tyre changing tools and equipment, has announced the appointment of Robin Maynard, former salesperson for Chicago Pneumatic (CP), as its new Sales & Marketing Liaison.
Maynard served in many roles during her 16-year tenure at Chicago Pneumatic, including Executive Assistant to the VP Sales and Marketing North America, Southeast Area Sales Manager and National Account Manager – Operations Support.
Maynard departed CP in 2019 to work in a sales capacity outside of the industry. Her joining AME serves as her introduction back into the tyre industry.
Maynard said: “I’ve been out of the tool business for a bit over a year and I looked forward to reengaging in an industry where I spent over 15 years gaining a wide variety of knowledge and experience. I believe that AME is a rare company that puts their heart and soul into the business and the welfare of those that are part of their team.”

Turkish commercial vehicle tyre and retreading group, Tatko has announced a reorganisation following the decision by Ilker Deliktas to leave the company. As a result, the company has announced that it is merging its Retreading and Repairing Material dept. has been merged with our
Truck Tire operations. Both departments with be now under the management of Deputy GM Halil 􏰀brahim Açıkgöz.
