Kal Tire Invests in Mexico
Canadian based Kal Tire has announced plans to develop a plant at Cananae, Sonora, Mexico. The company will be investing around 230 million pesos in the new retread plant. The plant will create 120 new jobs.
Pedro Pacheco, Kal Tire director of operations for Latin America, confirmed to Claudia Pavlovich, the
governor of the state, the expansion plans of the company, which also has a presence in Canada, Chile, England and Ghana.
The industrial unit will be built on a plot of 15 thousand square metres, and is expected to start operations in the middle of 2018, and to deliver its first manufactured products in September.
