New Kraiburg Trailer Design K 800 / KLT 1
mixture. With its distinct and deep lamellas, this all-weather retread transfers the traction forces optimally especially on winter road surfaces. The regular interruption of the pattern blocks with lamellas and the rolling surface, as well as a compound specially adapted to this retread, guarantee a good wear
pattern. The K_tech design K 213 has similar properties. The heavily pleated drive pattern for trucks is designed for winter operation – and is now available in widths of 180 mm, 190 mm and 220 mm.
Kraiburg Austria is launching another of its new developments on the market again this year and is also adding new widths for existing
pattern: available as K 800 in the K_base range, as KLT 1 in the K_plus range. It will be available initially in widths of 287 mm and 295 mm. The widths 305 mm and 320 mm will follow in mid-year. The K 800 / KLT 1 is an optimum com- panion on trailers, semi-trailers and
towed axles in local and long- distance traffic. In the version with
the K_plus premium compound, the Kraiburg design guarantees an excellent road performance
potential. Its structure promotes a balanced ground pressure distribution and even wear pattern. Wide grooves of a special design ensure good self- cleaning as well as optimum water dissipation. Wings ensure high stability and resistance to lateral shearing forces. They also
contribute to an attractive appearance.
Additional widths for K 225 / KMT 1 and K 213
Owing to the high demand from retreading partners, Kraiburg has added the 280 mm width to the K 225 block design. This retread is available as KMT 1 in the K_plus

New Milemaster Tread Range from Leader Rubber
Leader Rubber Company has announced the launch of a new range of premium pre-cured tread products designed to offer a combination of excellent mileage performance, reliability and optimum CPK performance.
The Milemaster range has been introduced as the company’s new premium quality tread product,
positioned above the existing Plus and Leader Tread ranges, which are positioned as the company’s mid- range and standard products respectively. Leader Rubber also markets Ringtread under licence from Marangoni.
According to Leader Rubber, the highest quality compound available is used in the manufacture of Milemaster products, which is initially available in a range of six patterns aimed at offering excellent performance at affordable prices. MM43 is Leader’s new primary drive pattern designed for long haul, regional and metro segments of the market. It features a directional design with deep tread grooves for enhanced traction and the elimination of slip in dry weather conditions. The design also incorporates stabilisers between the tread blocks for even wear and improved mileage.
