MM75 in Leader’s
drive application for
on/off road and
special applications,
for example in bthe
waste segment. It
features an aggressive
on/off road tread
pattern with deep
directional tread
blocks and grooves
designed to eliminate
stone trapping. The pattern is also open at the shoulders to provide good self-cleaning performance and to maintain traction in muddy conditions.
MM51 is a versatile all-position pattern designed for drive and trailer wheel positions in on/off road conitions in the long haul, regional and urban sectors. This pattern features wide zig-zag circumferential grooves for excellent lateral traction on both btrailer and drive wheel applications.
MM61 is also designed for use of both trailer and drive applications. It is suitable for use on long haul, regional and urban fleets and where moderate traction is required on the drive wheel position. The pattern features a five rib tread for even load distribution and increased mileage, multiple rib sipes for excellent control and traction in wet conditions, four wide grooves for efficient water
expulsion and edged ribs for better stone ejection and casing protection. MM61 is also suitable for on/off road applications.
  MM68 is an over the road trailer design for single wheel tandem and tri-axle applications in high scrub turning fleets. Key features include wide ribs for extra mileage and rounded shoulders with wings to combat lateral scrub.
Meanwhile Leader have also introduced a new trailer pattern to replace their Plus Range to replace the M42 Trailer - Over The Road pattern, which will be discontinued, as soon as current stock levels are depleted.
This will be replaced with the M48+ Trailer - On/Off road pattern which is more versatile and used on trailer position for on/off road applications. The mass per meter for the M48+ is lighter than the M42 and performs better in the trailer application.
The M48+ fits all tyre sizes in the target market a has a skid depth of 12.5mm and is available in the sizes ranging from 220 to 270.
    Stomping off the Road (OTR)
For more than 50 years, Galgo has been involved in the OTR retreading market, developing a high quality level of products and services for OTR tyre retreading, with a wide range of special products for off the road products, such as: strip or slab, repair materials, cushions and cement, for mould cure systems, as well as for the sculpturing system.
Galgo also have the OTRead® rubber products for the OTR precured tyre retreading with a wide range of patterns and sizes.
With all these systems Galgo covers almost all OTR tyre sizes allowing them to enter into Europe, USA and Latin-America for both bias and radial tyres.
