        Marangoni Starts 2014 with Big Plans
 Despite the fluctuation in the market, the year 2013 has been very positive for Marangoni, generating record business growth. This result has been due partly to the business structure of the Group, but primarily to the

Enderson Antonio Nascimento has been appointed Head of Maintenance responsible for the maintenance management of the company, enabling the necessary resources to ensure the availability and reliability of equipment. He has a degree in electronics from the CEFET - MG and graduated in Production Engineering. He has extensive knowledge and has experience working for big companies like Vallourec and Votorantim Cimening.
Finally, Enio Souza e Silva Filho has been appointed to the position of Production Coordinator and will be responsible for the production process of the factory in Lagoa Santa / MG. Among the main challenges is the management of the team of over 140 professionals, managing daily production, controlling the volume and mix of products and implementating more modern and efficient work methods. His career includes time working in various sectors, especially in the automotive sector with Fiat, Stola and Nemak.

     Bridgestone Bandag Resumes Partnership with Scania to Contest the Best Truck Driver in Brazil
Bridgestone Bandag has resumed its partnership with Scania for holding another contest for the "Best Truck Driver in Brazil." The idea is to promote safe driving-related values, reducing the emission of pollutants and improving the responsibility of drivers, emphasising the importance of quality Bridgestone tyres and Bridgestone Bandag Retreading. Applications run from April 14 to July 27 and can be promoted both by Scania dealers and more than 140 Bandag Truck Service (BTS) stores. The top three finishers will win a set of tyres from Bridgestone. "The competition reinforces the commitment of Bridgestone to promote traffic safety. The training of drivers is very important to avoid accidents on Brazilian highways . Only with training will we achieve results and increase profitability in business," said Marcos Aoki, Director of Sales and Marketing - BBTS.
The fifth edition of the contest was officially launched on 2 and 3 April at an event for journalists in Piracicaba, São Paulo. To participate,
the driver must possess a qualification category E license, fill out a form, and answer a questionnaire at registration. Participants will be evaluated through theoretical and practical tests that will address issues related to legislation, environmental concerns and responsible driving, both defensive and economic.
With more trained drivers, we expect improved road safety, reduced fuel costs and reducing impacts of driving on the environment. In the last edition of the competition in 2012, 47,000 drivers registered across Brazil. This year, more than 50 thousand subscribers are expected.
The online tests with 20 multiple- choice questions, will take place from May 1 to July 30. Then there will be a regional stage, between August 2 and November 16, and the final between 4-7 of December. There will be competition in 14 cities for a total of 28 regional stages. The champion of champions on Saturday and Sunday will qualify for the final.
   NSA Pneutec Presents "RETREAD 4G"
 NSA Pneutec is operating a new process for retreading in its unit in Santana de Parnaíba (in Sao Paulo State), which guarantees up to 55% more mileage.
"In the factory we have two different lines, the traditional line and 4G line,” says commercial director of NSA Pneutec, Giulio Cesar Claro. “The differences are large. The 4G range
achieved mileage improvements of 55 % when compared to a tread and a retreader of second line quality, whilst in comparison to first line treads and retreaders, the maximum improvement achieved reached 29 per cent.
The 4G retreading process comprises seven stages, with high technology machinery and equipment from different parts of the world, as follows:

Tipler has announced figures on the courses conducted by the Centre for Tipler Training ( CTT ) in 2013. According to the survey, 3,553 people were trained including classroom- based courses and distance learning
courses conducted by CTT Online. The number represents an 11 per cent growth compared to 2012, until then the record at the company.
In 2013, the CTT launched two new classroom courses, which qualify
