2014 Pneushow Presents the Undertruck Lounge
intended for maintenance and security: wheels, breaks, suspension, chassis, exhaust, dampers, hydraulic lifts, aligners, calibrators, balancers, tools and devices.
In Brazil, for each new tyre sold, manufacturers and importers must dispose of an old tyre. Because of that, recycling is fundamental not only to preserve the environment, but to enable the sales of new tyres.
Retreading is between the two ends, manufacturing and recycling. In its different modalities – retreading, recapping and recutting – this activity increases the life span of tyres and postpones their final disposal. In 2012 alone, over 16 million units, between cargo and passenger transportation, off- road and agricultural vehicles were remoulded. A unique event in Latin America that integrates the complete production chain of tyres – raw material, new tyres, retreading, maintenance, equipment and recycling – Pneushow-Recaufair – International Tire Industry Expo will have its 11th edition held by Francal Feiras on April 23 to 25, 2014, at the Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo.
The fair is a major opportunity for transportation companies, distributors, service centres, resellers, mills, rubber companies, automobile industries, retreaders and specialised stores to get to know what’s new and has been launched in the sector. This edition will gather, in 16,000m2, about 80 national and international companies engaged in varied segments of the life cycle of a tyre. Organisers expect to exceed the 10 thousand professional visitors from the last edition in 2012. Back then, the Pneushow-Recaufair received buyers from 17 countries: Germany, Angola, Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Chile, Chine, Colombia, Ecuador, USA, Italy, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Russia, Turkey and Venezuela.
Alongside Pneushow-Recaufair, the 11th edition of Expobor – International Rubber Technology Show, the largest event in the rubber industry in Latin America, will be taking place.
UnderTruck Lounge
In order to improve even more the offer of products and services to visitors, this year Pneushow- Recaufair will rely on the first edition of the UnderTruck – Lounge of Equipment, Products and Services for Fleet Maintenance and Security. The lounge relies on the cooperation of NTC - National Association of Cargo
Transportation & Logistics, an entity founded in 1963 representing the cargo transportation and logistics sector to governmental authorities and local authorities.
In addition to directly associated companies, NTC gathers over 50 patron entities (federations, unions and specialised associations), representing about 10,500 companies operating a total fleet with more than 1.5 million trucks and generating over a million jobs. The UnderTruck Lounge adds to the demand, particularly of fleets, for solutions and equipment
