Vipal Rubber celebrates a 15-year part- nership with NAS Tyre Services, one of its principal allies in Tanzania, highlighting its commitment to customer relationships and market presence in Africa. The collabora- tion is marked by mutual success and trust, reinforced by a special ceremony in Dar Es Salaam where NAS’s COO, Prakash Shenoy,
received a commemorative plaque from Vipal’s team.
Vipal’s International Sales Manager, Gilson Dugno, Europe’s General Manager, Fred- erico Schmidt, and European Commercial Manager, Fabricio Nedeff, attended the event. Dugno expressed pride in the long-
standing relationship, noting NAS’s substan- tial contributions to Vipal’s growth and its preference for the Vipamold line of precured treads.
Since partnering in 2008, NAS has emerged as a leader in tyre retreading in Tanzania. It serves diverse vehicle segments and pro- duces approximately 30,000 retreaded tyres annually. The company is expanding its reach into Congo and enhancing its Off-The-Road (OTR) tyre repair services.
Vipal’s representatives also visited South Africa, Mozambique, and Kenya as part of efforts to expand their commercial reach and affirm their status as a benchmark for excellence in the retreading market. Oper- ating in Europe since 2006 with facilities across Spain, England, and Slovenia, Vipal serves the African and Middle Eastern mar- kets, offering innovative and sustainable tyre retreading solutions.
