BEST PASSENGER RETREADER FEDIMA LEADS THE WAY IN PASSENGER RETREADING SEGMENT Fedima’s Rita Marques was on hand to receive the Best Passenger Retreader Award The passenger tyre retreading sector has tra- ditionally been dominated by European re- treaders, and that was no exception this year. The award was won by Portuguese retreader Recauchutagem 31, who are best known for their FEDIMA brand. The other nominees were Black Star from France, Insa Turbo from Spain, Malatesta Pneumatici from Italy and Radburg from Romania. Recauchutagem 31, based in Alcobaca, Por- tugal, is a family owned company, which has built up considerable strength in the car and especially the 4x4 sector. The company, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019, is known for its particular wide ran- ge of retreads covering multiple segments, which is claimed to be the most diverse range of retread products in the world. The award was collected in Bologna by Rita Marques.
