Indian tyre retreading machinery producers such as Aryan Machinery are further strengthening their portfolio on the OTR tyre repair side. The machinery manufacturers are looking at it as an evolving opportunity due to the large usage of OTR tyres in the mining sector and a proliferation of repairable tyres with deep cuts that lay abandoned at mining sites.
“In a survey in the mining region in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh, we observed a large number of mining tyres laying to repair those large mining tyres,” said Sanju Pillai, Managing Director, Aryan Machinery, who are based in Durg, one of the key and agricultural centre known for its large mining operations.
