MIDAS ORGANISES TECHNICAL TRAINING SEMINAR IN RAJASTHAN
Indian tread manufacturer Midas Treads is continuing to make efforts towards improving retreading standards in the country by helping to update retreaders with information on impending market challenges as well as on new products. of March, which brought all its customers together on a single platform.
“As part of our commitment to improve the quality of retreading in India, we recently held a training seminar in the town of Ajmer to help improve the industry and protect the environment,” said Paulose Varughese, Director, Midas Treads. About 70 retreaders from the central Indian state participated at the day-long event.
According to the Central Road Research Institute, India has added 77,266 km of National Highways (NHs) during the last eight years and has potentially avoided 32.15 million tons of CO2 emissions annually besides saving on fuel costs and tyre usage. Therefore, the changing road
dynamics in India poses a challenge for the industry to adopt best practices in their operations.
For their seminar Midas brought together their knowledge and experience with local retreaders. The seminar covered a
range of topics, including best practices for retreading, quality control, and environmental sustainability. The Kottayam of training is essential to ensure that the retreading industry in India can meet the needs of its customers while also protecting the environment.
