ELGI TRIVANDRUM FRANCHISEE EXPANDING
As part of an expansion plan, Elgi franchisee Unique Tread is plan- ning to triple the capacity of its Trivandrum production site. The plant, which opened in 1999, retreaded about 500 tyres per mon- th in the pre-Covid phase on a single two tyre autoclave but is now planning to install a 4-tyre chamber by the end of 2022.
