  VMI DONATES EUR 160,000 TO SUPPORT UKRAINIAN REFUGEES
In a special fundraising action, VMI and its employees have collectively donated EUR 160,000 to “Giro 555”, which is the Dutch part of the global Emergency Appeals Allian- ce. The donation will be used to provide prac- tical support to the Ukrainian people and tho-     
The fundraising is part of the contribution that VMI has made globally to provide help to the refugees. Particularly, VMI Poland has actively been involved in giving food and shel- ter.
During a small ceremony held in the head- quarters of VMI in Holland, Michael Oos- terhuis of the Works Council handed over a cheque representing the amount to Harm Voortman, CEO of the VMI Group.

  BANDISER INVESTS IN VIPAL BUFFER
Spanish retreader Bandiser S.L., located in the city of Cadrete in the province of Zaragoza, has acquired a Vipal VR01 Smart Duo buffer, the second machine sold by Vipal in Europe.
Bandiser, a Vipal partner since 2017, operates a new tyre sales and services business with 11 service points throughout the Spanish peninsula. Following the acquisition of the company by the Macisa group in 2018, the company is expanding rapidly throughout Spain. To keep up with the growth and increase in demand in the production of retreaded tyres, the company chose to acquire the Vipal buffer, which substantially speeds up the retreading process.
