Matteuzzi Shows Equipment it is Pleasure to Work With
The effectiveness of retreading equipment produced by Matteuzzi is well-known in the industry, so this year the company focused on making its machines easier to handle, according to Emilio Matteuzzi. In particular, the target to turn the retreading process into a pleasure for the staff was laid down in the concept of the Easy Skiver – the newest machine presented by the company.
“This machine has an important advantage of what is called zero gravity. This means that in order to make it operate no human energy is required. It is very easy in operation, because we have made it anthropomorphic, so it would perfectly fit to the bodily constitution of workers,” he said. In addition, the Easy Skiver does not pollute the environment of the retreading shop. Exposure to
rubber dust and various fumes are very typical at this stage of retreading process, and there is no secret that these substances are highly hazardous to the user’s health.
“It is designed so all the sparks and all smoke from the process are directed downwards. We believe it is much better to operate in a clean environment with clean air,” Matteuzzi said.
“Plus, the user would not feel any vibration from a cumbersome skiving tool. This means that at the end of the day the worker would be less tired”.
This is an important thing to have a look at, because in practice it turns out that individual protective equipment, such as goggles, masks and gloves cannot actually neutralise the negative effect that comes from vibration.
operations are often performed offline, as a complete unit,” Matteuzzi added.
In addition, Matteuzzi has presented its new automatic welding machine – a very small one, but with the high effectiveness. “You can process an
