Vipal Rubber Receives a Visit from Oceania Partners
In October Vipal was proud to receive a visit at its headquarters in Brazil from its partners in Oceania. There were four retreaders in total, three from Australia, Arctic Cool, Tyre Lug and Eco Green, and one from New Zealand, Power Retread. They toured Vipal’s three plants, two in Nova Prata, Rio Grande do Sul (RS), and one in Feira de Santana, Bahia (BA) and were welcomed by Vipal’s Head of International Business, Leandro Rigon, together with Adalberto Fernandez, Vipal’s Manager for MEROC (comprising Mercosul and Oceania), Tiago Campanharo, Commercial Director in Australia, and Rodrigo Refatti, Marketing Specialist.
After a tour of the Serra region, activities began at Plant I with a welcome from Jorge Rampon, Industrial Manager, Henrique Brito, Technology and Quality Manager, and Vanderlei Alban, Vipal Technical Instructor. The Technical Assistance Manager Leandro Paim introduced the guests to the new VR01 Smart Duo buffing machine. Fully
designed and developed by Vipal Rubber, the new machine is capable of buffing up to 35 tyres per hour.
While still in Nova Prata, the partners had the opportunity to visit the CTV - Vicencio Paludo Technical Center, and Vipaltec, the Vipal Rubber affiliate responsible for testing new and retreaded tyres, in addition to conducting research and testing for development of new products and services in its state-of-the-art lab. The guests also went to Plant II, the Lab, and finally to the CPT - Research and Technology Center, high- tech advanced studies laboratory.
In Feira de Santana (BA), the visitors explored the modern plant which is a reference for technology and sustainability in the rubber segment around the world. They were accompanied on the visit by the Production Coordinator, Anderson Bauremann, and by Leandro Rigon. To complete their visit, the partners were invited to take a City Tour through the touristic Bahian capital, Salvador.
Tipler's new partners are located in different regions of Brazil. In the Southeast, in Minas Gerais, Toca do Pneu, from Belo Horizonte joined the Network. In the Southern Region, Paraná received two new Concessionaires: Siga Pneus, from Marialva and Recapadora Taquarense, from Curitiba.
In the Brazilian Northeast, in
Maranhão, BR Renovadora, from São Luiz, became another partner of the brand. In the North, in the state of Pará, the new Concessionaire is the Recapadora do Gaúcho, from the city of Santarém. In the Center-West, in Goiás, the newest member of the Network is São Bento, in the city of Catalão.

Vipal has announced the addition of three new dealers to its network of retreaders in Argentina. The new members of the Vipal network are Futurgom, situated in General Ramirez in the Province of Entre Rios, HC
Neumáticos (San Rafael, Mendoza) and Funes Neumáticos (La Banda, Santiago del Estero). Representatives of the three companies are pictured here on a visit to Vipal’s factory in Feira de Santana, Bahia.
Bruma Pneus Strengthens Tipler Network
On the eve of completing 33 years of operation, Atibaia/SP based Bruma Pneus has been announced as the latest addition to the Tipler dealer network. "Tipler treads are recognised in the market,” said Camila
Oliveira Xavier, Administrative Director of Bruma Pneus. “We see with Tipler a new form of commercial proposal and service to satisfy the needs of our customers.”
Tipler has closed 2016 with an expanded network of retreaders, having added six new partners during the year. The first five of these were appointed during the first half of the year, with a sixth joining just before the start of 2017. "This is a very positive result,
mainly because it has been achieved in a year considered delicate for the Brazilian economy and politics, where there is a lot of apprehension on the part of companies and investors," said Tipler Commercial Manager Fabiano Fratta.
