         Ivo Recap Opens Biggest Retread Plant in Latin America
On August 28, Ivo Recap, from Group Ivo, with headquarters in Paraná, opened a new 20,000 square foot production unit in

The official opening was attended by about 800 guests, presidents, directors and authorities, such as Group Ivo’s Ivo Moreno Ruy, Vipal president Arlindo Paludo, Union of Industries of Rubber Artifacts of the State of Paraná - Sindbor/FIEP’s president Josafat Kubrak, and others.

In his speech, Arlindo Paludo congratulated the directors and the partner company’s team. “Ivo Recap’s 62 year histor y of success is very similar to that of Vipal,” he said, referring, among other aspects, to the entrepreneurship of his father, Ivo Moreno Ruy, the pioneer of Ivo Recap.
Moreno confirms the importance of his company’s partnership with Vipal, without whom, he says, the project of a new unit with such dimensions and concept would not exist. “Vipal, as a company that is a global reference, had to be the one to support us given our long years of partnership,” he said.
  Vipal ECO Tread Delivers Fuel Economy
Vipal has announced that in tests carried out with Brazilian haulage company Transport Roos, the company’s VRT2 ECO tread has proved itself to be more efficient than designs from other tread brands.

The owner of the company, Cristian Roos explains that the
further measurements with ECO treads from Vipal. "We now want to do the same procedure on steer tyres, and even before we do it, I know that we will have advantages," he says optimistically. Roos, with more than 17 years in the market, operates in the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais carr ying mainly rice and steel coils.
The VRT2 ECO tread is ideal for long distance stretches on paved surfaces, and has a structure which preserves the integrity of tyre casings.
