NSA Pneutec Renews Partnership with Vipal
cooperatives gave an important boost to the competitiveness of the sector, with the launch of a national shopping centre, which will provide cost savings in the purchase of products and contracting services, such as tyres, retreads, fuel oil and lubricants; insurance charges, third party and life insurance; vehicles, parts and accessories.
The President of the OCB, Márcio Lopes de Freitas, declared that central purchasing is a major breakthrough in the service of the Brazilian co-operative movement. "The network expansion throughout Brazil is extraordinary and this will give the opportunity for the development of the entire sector." he said.
The national coordinator of the transport branch of the OCB, Abel Paré, explained that the idea of creating national central purchasing arose from the success of the Rede Transport founded on January 25, 2011 in Rio Grande do Sul. The centre will have a Board of directors, consisting of a board of eight members, all members, elected by a general meeting.
The centre will develop a virtual platform containing the record of prices, ie, a system for approval of suppliers and buyers / associates. The administrative headquarters will be located in Arroio do Meio (RS), alongside the HQ of Rede Transport.
NSA Pneutec has a history extending back 60 years in Brazil’s retreading sector and it recently renewed its partnership agreement
Cesar Claro.
For the coming years, the company will continue with the support of Vipal to spread the 4G programme,
a unique technology in Brazil and adopted by the NSA, which aims to generate a complete cycle for the tyre, with minimum human intervention in the process, valuing perfection and the standardisation of products, that will modernise operations and generate savings for fleet operators.
The new 4G process will address imperfections caused during the entire life of the
tyre and uses the Vipal "ECO" tread, which produces diesel fleet economy.
Studies, now validated by customers, have shown as a result of the 4G reforms, mileage up to 55 per cent more than a 2nd line tread and up to 29 per cent yield against a premium tread.
For Vipal, the renewal of the partnership is increasingly important.
"Tyre retreading is a common practice among carriers worldwide, and the carriers appear to be more conscious about the contribution of tyre retreading to reducing the operating costs of the fleet as well as of their positive environmental impact." Says Vipal’s marketing manager, Eduardo Sacco.
