         New International Campaign for Vipal Know-How
Not every company spends four decades coming to know every inch of the roads of a continental country like Brazil. And only those who have this know-how can understand the peculiarities of the roads elsewhere in the world. For Vipal, leader in South America and a leading global manufacturer of tyre retreading products, is launching, in its 40th year, its institutional campaign directed to the foreign market in highlighting this important difference: offering the best solutions for retreading for the roads of countries on five continents.
Created by Duplo agency in Porto Alegre, the campaign, developed with 3D visuals, carries ads in English, Spanish or Portuguese in trade journals from around the globe: Spain, Portugal, United Kingdom, United States, Mexico,
Chile Colombia and Asian countries. In addition, the new Vipal ad campaign will also be exposed at the Autopromotec Fair, held in May, in the Italian city of Bologna.
Vipal is responsible for supplying to all continents, reaching in more than 90 countries. In foreign markets, the company has committed retreaders, teams and distribution centers (DC's) own in strategic locations so as to give full support to international customers. Today the company has DC's in Spain, Germany, Slovenia, Australia, United States (one in Florida and one in Virginia), Mexico and Colombia. The international structure of Vipal also has subsidiaries in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, USA, Spain and Australia.
Marangoni Aims for Growth in 2013
Present now in Brazil for more than 12 years, Marangoni has gained an important and significant recognition in the retreading business, especially for its products and systems, based on reliability and security. The company starts 2013 with good prospects. "We believe in an even better year than 2012, that comes from the positive performance of most customers, the expansion of our product range, the entry of new partners and the regulation of the sector through the implementation of Ordinance 444. We expect somewhere around 10 per cent growth for this year, but it all depends on several factors related to the country's economy, "said Gian Piero Zadra, head of Marangoni in Latin America.

Today the company holds about 10 per cent market share in Brazil, but the intention is to increase this share. "In 2012 we had to live with the effects of the reduction that the domestic industry had seen throughout the year. All these phenomena influenced the retread market and showed an overall decrease in the order of 3- 4 per cent. But even so, through the dedication of our staff, the excellent performance of our products and especially of our successful partnerships with our dealers, we are very pleased and
the strictly enforced rules. Marangoni has a competitive advantage, considering that all of our authorised network is certified, while only 30 per cent of Brazilian retreaders are currently up to this standard, "he adds.
Since its founding, all Marangoni Group guidelines have been drawn with the aim of developing unique technologies and superior quality retreads. "We continue to invest in technology and production, thus further consolidating our position in the market, giving the Marangoni brand credibility and trust that it deserves," concludes Gian Piero Zadra.
Lukatec is a company specialising in technology development and the manufacturing of machines for the retreading industry, and is located in the south of Brazil, in São Leopoldo.

1250S in operation. This number is expected to increase by the end of 2013. DPaschoal has been in
operation since 1949 in providing specialised services for automotive vehicles, trucks, buses, tractors, agricultural and industrial machinery. Present in seven Brazilian states, it has more than 500 service centres and 17 Truck Centers, employing some 3,800 people.
The RL-1250S is approved and recommended by leading manufacturers of treads in Brazil. Earnings quality in the process united with the high productivity of this machine make it a real choice for creating both safe and profitable retreads.
