Leshan Yalun Profiles Itself on International Stage
Founded in 1979 and located in Sichuan Province in China, Leshan Yalun Mold Co Ltd claims a position as China’s largest company in the retreading equipment field. The company has over 200 employees and claims to serve over 70% of Chinese retreaders and a number of clients overseas. Leshan Yalun is particularly strong in the OTR retreading segment, an area where the company claims a
market share within China in excess of 80 per cent.
Leshan Yalun is a vice president member of the CTRA and has been appointed as the National Giant Tire Retreading R&D Base. The company has also participated in making multiple national standards for the retreading industry in China and has obtained over 15 retread related patents. In addition to equipment supply Leshan Yalun can also provide an integrated
service package covering project consulting, plant design and technical training.
The company has an English Language hotline serviced by Sales Manager Li Po, who was on hand at Leshan Yalun’s stand at Tyrexpo Asia, where the company was making its debut on the international stage.
Leshan Yalun has developed as a mould supplier and, as might be expected, the company is particularly strong in this area, particularly in the OTR sector. However, Yalun can also supply range of other retreading equipment including buffing machines, pre-cured tread sanding machines, curing chambers, pre- cured tread presses, tyre inspection machines, pressure testing equipment and envelope spreaders.

Jianxin Focuses on Brand Development
Jianxin Rubber, based in Jinjiang, Fujian Province, has for the past 24 years focused on establishing itself as the leading manufacturer of pre- cured tread rubber in China. Established in 1989 on 80.000 sq m site, the company is now a comprehensive rubber manufacturer supplying pre-cured tread rubber, cushion gum, inner tubes and flaps. In the past, Jianxin followed the old concept that a good product will sell itself. If they produced quality products, the market would follow, so it spent virtually no time nor funds on marketing its products. However, the company is now pressing forward with a plan to develop the Jianxin name as the “first brand of pre-cured tread rubber
Currently, the ISO9001: 2008 certified operation produces some 5,000 tons per month and is now beginning to show an increased profile on the international stage. Jianxin established its Overseas Sales Department in June
2012. According to Sales Manager Brave Cai, who we talked to at the recent Tyrexpo Asia exhibition in Singapore, the company is not only being buoyed by a growing retread market in China, but is now expanding rapidly overseas. Jianxin’s main export customers are in Africa and South East Asia as well as in Hong Kong and Taiwan but the company does also have customers in the Middle East.
