     NSA Pneutec Complete 60 years in Brazil

The oldest retreading facility in Brazil is celebrating 60 years of life and business success.
"Few companies celebrate a diamond wedding. Pneutec NSA has, for 60 years treated tyres as jewellery." It is with this slogan that the oldest tyre repair and retread company in Brazil, NSA Pneutec is celebrating 60 years of operation in retreading truck, passenger, industrial and off road tyres.”
With 100 per cent family capital, the group was founded in 1951 in São Paulo and now has the capacity to retread approximately 10,000 tyres per month at its two plants located in Guarulhos and Santana de Parnaíba. In addition, it works with three truck auto centres and offers personalised service at customers’ own premises.
To provide service to some 1500 customers, the group currently employs 200 direct and indirect employees and is aiming to obtain ISO certifications, which demonstrate the technical quality of products and operations. The secret of success? Good management inherited from father to son.

them to provide feedback are also keys to success. "Many good ideas come out of our factories, from the operators to the management," he adds.
For the current management of NSA Pneutec, Giulio Cesar Claro,states, "Our goal is to make NSA Pneutec a centennial company in the country. The group has increased in the last six years with the acquisition of other companies and our focus remains on service innovation and quality customer service," he says.
Currently, NSA Pneutec has over 1500 active clients and 50 partners and suppliers.
Founded in 1995, NSA is a company that specialises in retreading and remoulding tyres and offering tyre services. The company’s predecessor, Brascap tyres, had more than half a century of experience in the tyre sector. With operations in retreading segment since 1951, the company was acquired by Pneutec NSA.
Continuing the growth in 2008, the company took over agricultural specialist Recamar, which had been in operation since 1964. Recamar – had been a traditional company in the retreading sector since 1964.Micropneus, a company, specialising in fleet management, was also taken into the NSA group Pneutec and complements the care cycle of fleets.
To ensure quality, standardisation and performance of products, NSA Pneutec is certified ISO 9001 | 2000 and Inmetro.

In 1943, Sidney Antonio Claro, founder of NSA Pneutec, began to trace the trajectory of the company's success. From 11 years of age, he began to learn about tyre repair services at a time when most wheels were made of wood. "Tyres were new in town, because until then carts were the main vehicles. Tyres were new in the few cars that existed. My uncle saw an opportunity and took a course in tyre repairing and he taught me,
