completion of the project to consolidate its production facility for the manufacture of all retreading machinery and equipment on behalf of the Marangoni Group.
Another important initiative is the creation of a technical and commercial division dedicated to the research and development of machinery and equipment for OTR tyre retreading, an area in which the Marangoni Group has always played an important role.
The purpose is to offer the market a complete package that starts from support in the preparation of the feasibility study up to the supply of "turnkey projects" with "start-up" assistance, including staff training, technical support, and eventually the supply of all raw materials needed for production.
TRM can now boast one of the most comprehensive lines in the world divided in 3 different sizes (up to 35",up to 51" and up to 63"), which includes inspection machines, buffers, groovers, extruders, cushion applicators and crater fillers, autoclaves, curing presses and moulds.
The main equipment such as buffers, groovers, extruders and tread applicators in the TRM OTR line, consisting of the EAGLE and XEM versions, is completed by the Mammuth range, which, since its introduction in 1982, has been the reference for technology in the field. These products, which were developed and have always been produced and marketed by Marangoni Meccanica, have now been transferred to TRM Srl with Marangoni Meccanica now dedicated exclusively to the design and manufacture of machinery and plants for the production of new tyres.
