EVENT
PREVIEWS
the Southeast Asian retread market. This will be followed by David Stevens, the Managing Director of TRIB, with an update on the North American market, Daniel Rojas, Gener- al Manager of ARNEC, on the South American market, and Guido Gambassi, President of BIPAVER, on the European retread sector.
We will then dive deeper into trends and challenges for Southeast Asian retreaders with a live panel discussion chaired by Retreading Business Publisher David Wilson and featuring Edmund Wong, President of TRMAM, Tai Qisheng, and Jason Tedja from GIIB and Kartindo Rubber, respective- ly. Michael Hutt, editor of Retreading Business, will also join the panel discussion.
On Day 2 the focus switches to educational topics, and we concentrate on two subjects we hope attendees will find of significant use in their businesses. Firstly, Paulo Cesar Moraz from Univipal, Vipal’s technical university, will pres- ent a seminar on managing a retread plant cost-efficient- ly. Daniel Rojas’s second presentation will follow this. This time, Daniel will be giving us the benefit of his vast experi- ence by explaining how the retreading industry worldwide can successfully deal with governments. At a time when not all countries have an organisation that can defend the interests of the retreading industry to those in power, this should be interesting for many in developing markets.
All the conference sessions at TyreXpo Asia will be free to attend. They will also be recorded and available on our digi- tal platforms after the event.
TyreXpo Asia was exceptionally well attended in Singapore last year
CIRCULAR ECONOMY FORUM
Meanwhile, at Tire Cologne from 4-6 June, Retreading Business and Tyre & Rubber Recycling will moderate events on the Circular Econ- omy stage. Over three days, there will be a mix of individual pres- entations, panel discussions, and presentations from exhibitors. Re- treading Business Publisher David Wilson will moderate the events on the stage.
Key events on Day One will include 3 presentations on the Future of Retreading. These will come from the perspective of a retreader, a tyre manufacturer and a tread rubber supplier, offering a mixed balance of views. We will also have two-panel discussions, one in English and one in German. The English-speaking panel will discuss “How can the retreading industry make its sustainability credentials count?” The AZUR Network will host the German session and will address the related topic of “Sustainable Transformation of Mobility with Retreaded Tyres.”
David Wilson “We are excited to once again be involved in the organisation of conference sessions for the tyre retreading and recycling sectors at TyreXpo Asia and The Tire Cologne, two of the most important tyre industry exhibitions worldwide. We hope that these sessions will provide plenty of impetus and market insights for retreaders from all over the world.”
