FUTURMOTIVE EXPO & TALKS DEMONSTRATES TECHNOLOGICAL PROGRESS FOR A GREENER FUTURE Futurmotive Expo & Talks, the Autopromotec spin-off event designed to focus on the themes of energy and ecological transition as well as innovations in the automotive sector, took place from 16 to 18 November at the Bologna Exhibition Centre in Italy, welcoming manufacturers, distributors and buyers from across the automotive industry. The event, which took place alongside a sister event, E-CHARGE, dedicated to the electric vehicle recharging chain, took place in Halls 14 and 19 and attracted 302 participating companies and 8,505 visitors across the two events. As far as the tyre industry is concerned, the event was relati- vely small. Still, it did attract a small but exciting core of com- panies from across the sector, including tyre manufacturers, scrap tyre management schemes and technology companies, all of which we are keen to display and demonstrate their con- tribution to the Circular Economy. In particular, the organisers gave considerable support to the retreading industry, with the event hosting the annual meeting of AIRP, the Italian Retreaders’ Association, the BIPAVER Ge- neral Assembly, the Future of Retreading and Recycling Con- ference, organised by Retreading Business, and the Awards Ceremony for the 2023 Recircle Awards.
