BLACK STAR SIGNS SUPPLY AGREEMENT WITH RENAULT Six months after the launch of its Leo- nard branded range of reconditioned tyres, the Mobivia group subsidiary Black Star has announced that it has signed a commercial agreement with the Renault Group valid until mid- 2024. Under the agreement, the Leo- nard range from Black Star will appear in all the workshops of the French manufacturer as well as in Renault’s Re-Factory in Flins, the company’s first plant focusing on the circular economy in mobility. To present this partnership, Black Star and Renault equipped a Dacia fleet with Leonard tyres. The Leonard range of tyres was launc hed in April at the Drive to Zero ex- hibition in France as Black Star’s new mass-market branded passenger and 4x4 tyre. The tyres are manufactu- red in the ex-Bethune, France, where Black Star have combined with Brid- gestone to create a new tyre recycling ecosystem at the latter’s former tyre plant. NEWS EXTRA
