NEW ROBOTIC CEMENTING SYSTEM FROM ITALMATIC ROBOTICS
Italmatic has announced that its sub- sidiary company Go Energy Srl, located in Rovereto, Italy, has changed its name to Italmatic Robotics Srl. At the same time, the company has revealed a new patented robotic cementing system.
A motorised monorail system positions the truck tyre in front of a robotic arm,
spraying water based cementing solu- tion precisely in the correct quantity without wasting material, whilst im- proving the quality of the process and the production capacity. The full pro- cess is completely automatic.
The return on investment is very fast, says the company, as the robotic sys-
tem saves the human labour cost and, at the same time, prevents potential health issues to the operator. The re- turn of investment is also assured by the accurate weight control system for the cementing solution, which allows the application to the casing of exact- ly the right quantity of product, there- by improving the process quality and avoiding waste.
For each type of casing, the robotic arm is able to choose the right recipe by a special sensor recognising the casing dimension to be solutioned, in order to applied onto the tyre. The information on the production is sent to the com- pany server, making very useful data available on the consumption of mate- rials, daily productivity, etc.
