PRODUCTS NEW STN ENVELOPES FROM MAE INDUSTRIA GOMMA PROVIDE OPTIMISED PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS MAE Industria Gomma has announced that - ms of technology and product quality, espe- cially with regards to its established range of of outer envelopes. The company’s new STN outer envelope is the company’s latest third-generation pro- duct and is the result of years of study into the product performance of its envelope range. Compared to MAE’s second-gene- ration ST line of outer envelopes, the new thickness, which means an increase in heat transfer and curing time reduction, lower weight and better ergonomics. The company says it has also achieved im- provements in compounds to achieve opti- high tearing resistance, the ability to keep shape for longer as well as a better perfor- mance and longer life. The new STN envelopes are also designed to reach the highest quality standards in terms of performance and therefore lowest cost per cure. Important investments have been made in latest generation machinery, whilst moulds have also been re-engineered in or- - velope onto the tyre. In addition, new accessories have also been developed to protect the valve area and to guarantee faster air evacuation time.
