Firstly, we heard from Marco Margialardo from Michelin, who talked about how the Ecodesign of a new tyre can impact postively on the retreading industry. This was then followed by David Stevens, the Ma- naging Director of TRIB in the USA, who gave his views on Communi- cating the Retreading Industry’s Sustainability Message.
The three core presentations for the tyre retreading sector were then followed by three equally interesting topics for the tyre recy- cling sector. Firstly, Federico Dossena, the CEO of Italian EPR sche- me Ecopneus gave a market update on the The Italian Tyre Recycling Sector. This was followed by Dario Andreani from SustrendLab, who presented his company’s innovation T-Phite, which has enabled the
the Consultancy company Weibold, who outlined some of the oppor- tunities and trends in the tyre pyrolysis market.
The Conference was followed, after a short break by the Awards pre- sentation for the Recircle Awards.
