also giving good performance in regional and overland traffic. Its optimised stipe design also makes the K708 a real winter specialist, providing really good grip, especially on snow and ice. The stipe design also minimises the formation of sawtooth wear.
The K708 is a modern design, whereby the arrangement of the tread blocks also considerably reduces
noise emissions in
operation. The rounded
and closed shoulder
protects the tyre from
damage by snagging and
kinking – an important
advantage in city traffic
with its tight radii and
kerbsides. The all-round
K708 pattern is available in
three sizes – 240, 250 and 260 millimetres – with a depth of 22 millimetres.
KRAIBURG’s second new tread pattern, K727, is also a traction design in the K_plus range. Developed for use in regional traffic, it is also suitable for long- distance traffic. Deep and specially formed grooves in combination with a particularly aggressive shoulder design lend the K727 maximum traction properties even
under extreme winter conditions – from the first ground frost to the last snow in the spring. In addition, the tread offers extraordinary damage resistance. The highly developed fixation of the tread blocks ensures low proper motion and high stability
Envelope Elevator 360: An Easy Way to Get More Out of Your Curing Envelopes
    Curing envelopes are
one of the higher cost
consumables in your
retread shop and
maximising their service
life can really help your
bottom line. All
envelope manufacturers recommend that the
number one way to get
more out of your
envelopes is to allow
them to cool between cures.
“Any envelope manufacturer will tell you that stacking your envelopes flat and neatly while cooling between cures, helps to retain their shape and slow the rubber heat aging process,” said Doug Conley, President of Shamrock Marketing. “They also recommend that to protect your envelope investment you should store them off the floor and keep them away from sharp edges or anything that can puncture the hot rubber.”
The Envelope Elevator 360 from Shamrock Marketing makes it easy to follow these manufacturer’s
recommendations. In addition, to improve efficiency, the Elevator 360 can be used to help organise your envelopes by size and type. Because they are equipped with an ergonomic handle and heavy-duty zero turning radius caster wheels, they are very easy to manoeuvre. They are also made in the U.S.A. and designed to withstand the tough conditions of any retread shop.

KRAIBURG Austria has announced the launch of Perivallon, a new water-based solution which offers both ecological and economic advantages over traditional solutions containing petrol. The new product contains no hydrocarbon solvents and is therefore less harmful to the
environment and employees. As a result, there is no longer any need for expensive and often difficult to organise hazardous goods transportation and storage modalities. The disposal of empty containers is also unproblematical.
In addition, the applied quantity of Perivallon is only one tenth of
