mining sector. Also in the retreading sector, we are working a lot on our new line of envelopes which the bread and butter of our retreading business.
RB
When you started the business, you spoke about the possibility of selling 4x4 retreaded tyres. Is any development in this respect?
PV
is necessary to do promotions in the local market, and it is necessary to do more than simply offer support, but due to the problem of COVID we have not been able to do it. In the coming months, however, the situation is expected to improve, and we are going to implement this type of product offer for the 4x4 sector because it is another type of business that is very interesting, above all in Italy.
RB
Finally, thinking about the future, what are your objectives for the year in front of us?
PV
Next year, the main target will be to be able to start to travel and personally visit our clients, as in the last few months, we haven’t been able to do this, as we would normally. The other question is to be able introduce ourselves at various trade fairs exhibiting our products and helping people to get to know the VM brand, and above all helping them to get to know our staff. Currently we have not been able to meet almost anyone, and if we are not able to
do exhibitions, the staff can’t present the options.
Finally, this is the objective that we have for 2022 because in 2021, if everything goes as it is going at the moment, we will be fairly satisfied. We have done a good job in promoting our products from the point of view of advertising and promoting ourselves via social media. Overall, we have had quite a bit of success in respect to our objectives.
