Leo Linkesch – Marangoni
“I believe that the industry is important, retreading and recycling are important, and sustainability and ecology are important, for us and for the world, and we as persons are only small pieces of it...”
– Leo Linkesch
Leo Linkesch works as Area Manager in the Marangoni's Retreading Systems business unit. He's
responsible for sales in the easternmost part of Europe, in the Russian Federation and many other Russian-
speaking countries. He's been working for Marangoni since 1998, but the first contacts with the company go back to 1994. From the beginning of his career, he has
contributed significantly to the creation and expansion of the Marangoni network of independent retreaders in Eastern
Europe.
Leo's commitment was paramount for the growth of
Marangoni's business in Eastern Europe, a region that was changing rapidly in the 90s. The key to success was precisely
his ability to understand both sides of the former Iron Curtain and the different ways of mentality and thinking in these two
worlds. He's a professional with an excellent dedication to work, always supportive and proactive in solving any customer issue.
The knowledge of many languages and his passion for journalism makes it easy for him to spread the culture of retreading.
