Vipal and Fedan Tire Celebrate 25 Year Partnership
Vipal Rubber has paid tribute to Florida based retreader Fedan Tire Co. in recognition of 25 years of collaboration between the two companies Fedan Tire, who have been active in the market for 42 years, was Vipal's first commercial partner in the American market, and in honour of the excellent
equipment installed and the quality of Vipal's products, we have been able to deliver the best to our customers,” he said.
The Fedan owner also took advantage of the situation to acknowledge his father and Fedan founder, Mr. Felix Sanchez. “I would like to give a special thanks
   attendees with valuable retreading advice.
PRE-Q Galgo Corporation Vice President Eduardo Nava said, “We are ver y grateful to our long-time dealer partner Sumerel Tire
Service for allowing Tony to be a part of our first show of the year. We value the partnership we have with our dealers and look forward to continuing to earn their business ever y single day.”
reputation built over these years and the long-term partnership, Vipal recently delivered a commemorative plaque to the company's headquarters, located in the city of Hialeah.
Felix Sanchez Junior, owner of Fedan Tire Co., received the plaque and professed himself to be delighted with the recognition; “I would like to thank Vipal for congratulating us and for the vote of confidence. Vipal has been a very important partner for our business during the past 25 years. Our company currently has the capacity to retread 3,000 tyres per month. With all the new
to Mr. Felo, now 90 years old, who started our histor y 42 years ago and continues to accompany us in our growth,” he added. Vipal Rubber´s Commercial Manager for the NAFTA region, Gabriel Fuma, commented; “Fedan was the first retreader in the United States to believe in our products and services,” he said. “We wish Fedan a long life and for our strong partnership to continue so that we may keep offering the quality of Vipal Rubber´s products and services to carriers and consumers in Florida.”
Vipal Machinery, who arrived on the US market as recently as the second half of 2020, is claiming to have notched up a couple of notable successes with local retreaders. One of them, Pete's Road Services, has just added a second machine from the Brazilian company at its Corona facility in California, this time a VOC 760 Cargo extruder.
Kyle Fletcher, owner of Pete's Road Service, explained why he decided, in a span of less than six months, to invest in another machine from Vipal; “We installed a VR01 Smart DUO buffer last year, and, after seeing the quality and results obtained from this machine, we decided to buy another piece of equipment, the VOC 760 Cargo, which is already up and running. We have had a very satisfactory experience
with Vipal in the supply of precured treads and we are already seeing the significant quality gains that their equipment provides", he added. Gabriel Fuma, Commercial Manager of Vipal in the
United States, commented; “Retreaders are optimistic about the future of the industry, partly due to existing tariffs on Chinese tyres, and partly due to the return to a healthier post-pandemic economy. As a result, plans to invest in equipment and in modernisation of plants have also been renewed, which has generated a series of new opportunities”.
Two additional pieces of equipment from Vipal Machinery are now also fully operational in another North American state. Vipal sold another VOC 760 Cargo last semester to Retread Solutions in North Carolina, who have also owned a VR01 Smart Duo buffer since last year.

PRE-Q Galgo Corporation exhibited at the annual TAPT (Tennessee Association of Pupil Transportation) conference on June 8th, 2021, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
“The trade show turnout was greater than expected and was as close to normal as most of us have seen in a while. It was great to see actual faces and talk about why retreading should be incorporated into their tyre
programmes. We understand that trade shows are still limited this year, but we will attend where we can and plan to be at more in 2022. Thank you again to the staff at TAPT and we are honoured and proud to be a 2021-2022 TAPT Industr y Partner,” said Ron Elliott- PRE-Q Galgo /Marketing Manager
