Elgi Rubber Company Introduces Newest Generation of JeT Soft Cushion Repairs”
Elgi Rubber Company has announced the introduction of an improved range of JeT Soft Cushion bias and radial repair units. These true dual-cure repairs are specifically designed to provide enhanced vulcanisation with CVC/BVC, at a wide range of temperatures in
retread chambers (212 – 275 degrees F), or by chemical cure uses in professional applications. JeT repair facing gum thickness has been increased for enhanced flow and vulcanisation, and poly thickness has been increased by nearly 50%, for easier removal.

The VT850 tread has the M + S marking as well as a wear indicator, which indicates the exact moment the tyre should be retreaded, keeping the casing intact and extending the tyre's service life so that it can be retreaded as many times as possible while maintaining the required safety and quality standards.

Commercial Manager, Gabriel Fuma, the tread has received positive reviews from the market regarding the new product.
“We have received excellent feedback from everyone who has equipped their vehicles with the VT850 tread,” Fuma said. “The tread proves, in practice, the excellent results it obtained during the tests. We are confident that it will be widely successful in the American market due to the great performance it has been presenting.”
Kartindo Rubber has expanded its product range with a new tread design available in 5 sizes. KD72 is designed specifically for
secondary sinuous roads and steep hills. It features two longitudinal ribs on the shoulder edge with two central staggered ribs. This provides excellent traction without compromising rolling resistance on paved roads. Produced using Kartindo’s K- Premier rubber compound, KD72 meets the demands of extremely competitive markets where low cost-per-km is a given expectation. With 5 sizes available from 210mm to 250mm widths, it caters to major tyre sizes from 11.00R20 to 315/80R22.5. This is part of Kartindo’s continuous effort to expand their product lines to meet the growing needs of customers in the retread market.
