Indonesian tread manufacturer Kartindo Rubber has announced an extension to its K-Premier and K-Lite ranges of tread designs as part of its plans to increase sales in export market.
New to the company’s range is the KT22 trailer pattern specifically designed for 385/65 R 22.5 super-single tyres. According to Kartindo, the KT22 design is the latest in a range of new designs that will rolled out over the course of the coming months. The first orders of the new pattern will be shipped in early July.
The KT 22 features a longitudinal rib design with closed shoulders to assure good directional stability as well as low stress on the casing due to minimal tread movement. The pattern also offers a wide tread to surface contact area, which helps optimise both mileage performance and stability. The launch of the KT22 follows
on from the KD71, KP41 and KT21 designs, which were launched in December 2019 and January 2020. The patterns are application specific in nature with the D coding referring to “Dual” (for use on both drive or trailer axles), the P coding referring to “Prime” (for drive axles) and the T coding being designed for trailers.
All four patterns for part of the K- Premier and K-Lite ranges, which have been designed specifically as premium products for export markets.
