New Dates Announced for Pneushow
Vipal Provides Online Training to Take Advantage of Social Isolation
Francal Feiras, the organisers of the Brazilian tyre industry exhibition, Pneushow, have announced that the exhibition, which is run together with the rubber technology show, Expobor, will now take place from March 17-19, 2021 at Expo Center Norte in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Since the previous postponement, (from June 30-July 2 to September 23-25, 2020) the company says it has been monitoring the situation in Brazil and keeping an intense
dialogue with the market to define the best dates for the exhibition. Facing the challenges of the current moment, such as social distancing, industry seasonality, the investment capacity of the exhibiting companies and visitors, Francal says it is confident the new date will ensure a strong and safe event, offering business opportunities and positive experience to both exhibitors and visitors.
The social isolation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has motivated many companies to direct their employees to a home office regime. However, more than just adapting the everyday activities performed in the company at home, Vipal Rubber has identified an opportunity for the professional improvement of its employees. Courses at Univipal (the company's corporate university) have been made available to Vipal's commercial and technical teams in Brazil and abroad, with real-time guidance from Univipal instructors. The idea is to take advantage of social distancing to improve and update knowledge and further prepare the company’s professionals to meet the new demands of the market.
Since April, Vipal's internal team
has been receiving daily online training on various topics related to the company's business and the tyre retreading segment. Always under the coordination of a Univipal professional, over 40 training sessions have been held covering subjects such as: Tyre Repair Patches; Main Causes of Process Failures in Truck Tyres; Tyre Legislation; Scrap Analysis; Rubber Compounds; ECO Treads, among others. In addition to these, 16 further subjects are scheduled to be covered in new classes.
“The pandemic has been a very important laboratory for activities that we previously believed to be in a certain way, that is why it is relevant to bring everyone together through online tools. We are aware that this moment in time requires adaptations and a different
attitude”, says Guilherme Rizzotto, Commercial and Marketing Director at Vipal Rubber. “In doing that”, he continues, “we first make Univipal's online courses available to all audiences in order to qualify the segment for after the

which are used exclusively in the medical sector, offer the highest protection against infection and have been in critically short supply during the crisis, being offered at
exorbitant prices on the “free market”. KRAIBURG removed the masks from its own inventory, to support the emergency services in Braunau.
