MGPL Opens Franchisee in Telangana
Indo-Italian retreading JV MGPL is further strengthening its presence in India by appointing another franchisee in the southern part of the country. The JV opened a retread site through new franchisees in Hyderabad, Capital of Telangana in December 2019. The new full-service Ringtread franchisee, which operates under
gauge their reaction and evaluate performance, which emerged as highly positive.
The retreading site is spread over 3000+ sq. feet at Isnapur Transport area on the Bangalore - Mumbai highway. The plant became operational in December with equipment profile and plant layout following the standards laid

the title Xtralife Retreaders LLP, has three partners, Ravi Kotagi, Ravi Potturi and Shrimant Kotagi, who between them have over four decades of experience in the transportation and logistics business.
The partners’ transportation and logistics businesses are functional under two separate entities, New Bombay Roadlines and Jeevika Logistics. Tyre Retreading is a diversification to cater to the tyre needs of their ‘captive’ customer base in and around Hyderabad in the state of Telangana and border of Maharashtra.
Post signing up with MGPL, New Bombay Roadlines carried out some seed marketing of Ringtread retreaded tyres to select fleets to
down by MGPL. The franchisee has the capacity to retread 450 tyres each month in a single shift. The new franchisee also offers the additional service of tyre repair on specialised tyre repair equipment. This is expected to be a key service for trucks stopping in the transport area and looking for a more professional service than that provided by typical road-side puncture shops.
Xtralife plans initially to focus on small–medium fleets with a view to catering to the requirements of large fleets in the future also. The company says it aims to achieve a healthy mix of servicing customer own tyres and providing finished retreaded tyres from casings bought from the market.
