Marangoni Video Proves Extreme Performance
in Off-Road Use
Transport NI, carried out in partnership with the retreading company ECO Tyre, from the Irish city of Creeny, the VRT3 tread was applied to drive tyres on a Scania R440, and achieved a performance of 184,514 kilometres, also better in performance compared with the new tyres of another brand in the market.

The VRT3 tread is designed for radial tyres fitted to the drive axles of commercial vehicles. Specified for highway fleet transportation, the design is especially recommended for long- distance travels on paved roads.

Vipal's VRT3 Tread Achieves Superior Performance in Europe
Vipal has released the results of two tests carried out on European highways, which demonstrate the performance of the company’s VRT3 tread for highway freight transportation.
The tests were developed with the fleet companies Civantrans Civantos Prieto, from Cordoba, Spain, and A1 Transport NI, from Belturbet, North Ireland.
During the first test, the analysis was made with Vipal’s authorised retreading company Renovados Muralla, from Ávila, in Castilla y León. In this case, an Iveco 450 truck was equipped with four drive tyres and drove across the highway network in the metropolitan area and in the province of Cordoba.
The performance obtained with the design accounted for 264,445 kilometres, which compared favourably with the performance achieved with new tyres from a competitor brand.
The result was approved by the fleet company involved. "Civantrans Civantos Prieto trusts Vipal to safely renew its tyres, counting on the brand’s quality and good performance", said Gabriel Civantos Prieto, the fleet’s owner. On the test conducted with A1
and submitted to use in equal conditions, ensuring impartiality in the results obtained. For this to be possible, the tests follow strict standards stipulated by Vipal’s Methodology on Performance Evaluation.
