markets. This, in Abraham’s opinion, ‘has earned the company a reputable name, whilst additionally providing them with a strong position in the North American Tyre Industry.’
Recently, the company expanded its production capacity in line with the global business demands that
are being placed on the company. This was through the purchase of Farrell F-270 mixers, Alfred Herbert K4-Intermixers and 84” mixing mills. These investments have been an underlying factor in the quantity and quality of master batch compounds and pre-cured tread rubber.
The company also has a dedicated research and development laboratory to assure the consistent quality of the products, with continuous testing realised to examine factors from product durability and hardness to tensile strength and mileage.
CRI Rubber have several product portfolios that include: precured tread rubber, retreaded commercial truck tyres, rubber compounds and finally strip rubber and cushion gum, as the company continues to make constant efforts to provide a service for every eventuality.

Shamrock Marketing Inc,. continued being an ever-present at this year’s edition of the Latin American and Caribbean Tyre Expo in Panamá, as Retreading Business took the opportunity the catch up with the family-owned business that operates out of Kentucky.
Manager of Logistics and Latin American Sales, Clemente Rodriguez was representing the organisation at the trade fair and began by talking to us about their presence at the show, “we have been coming here since 2011, so almost from its debut. Although the show is a little slower than others, a big crowd isn’t a prerequisite for us. As long as we can get quality contacts, it pays for itself.”
Rodriguez continued,
“Besides this, the event gives
us a chance to meet our
existing customers aside from potential new ones and to see familiar industry faces,
meaning there is a mix of everything.”
As with most trade fairs, organisations see them as the
perfect launch pad for new
and innovative products and
service offerings. In this
regard, Shamrock Marketing
Inc. were no different as they
sought to bring an assortment
of new products to the Latin American and Caribbean Tyre
Expo.
Rodriguez explained, “these
shows are always decent
opportunities to introduce new products and options for our customer base, and as to provide a platform for us to continue growing our presence in specific geographic regions.”
One of the lines that the equipment dealer was displaying at the fair included the TRM retreading equipment range from Marangoni, which covers options for truck, light- truck, passenger, 4x4, and OTR retreading production systems.
