the United Nations, which cites 10 characteristics of a successful entrepreneur. They are, looking for opportunities and initiative, persistence, risk, they require efficiency and commitment and to be informed, have goals, plan, plus have the power of persuasion, independence and confidence. They also need to use the 'swot' and 'smart' management methods.
The 'swot' analysis defines strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. “Smart', requires the participant to plan what to do, how to do it, how much, when and who will do what in the company. For the consultant, the workshop is a study to anticipate facts and create business
opportunities. "The entrepreneur cannot give up in the face of obstacles, he needs to take on challenges and evaluate alternatives, making the best decisions," said Barros.
The President of Sindirecicle-MT, Fabricio Margreiter, defends the workshop as part of the association's initiative to make companies more competitive, with employees committed to the work and growth of the industry. "Members could learn new ways of doing things within the company, expand learning and through different behaviour create greater productivity at work," said the president.
 Angel Casillas Castillo, President of Mexican tyre specialist Astrollantas, recently expressed his dedication in the service it provides to its customers. That is why Astrollantas offers the widest possible range of services to its customers throughout Mexico. The company’s fully trained staff check tyre pressures, alignment, balancing, management fleets and choice of the most suitable products for the operation of each vehicle; factors that result in the best performance from the Michelin range and the best cost per kilometre.
He noted that as a result, the company is responsible for providing care about 50 per cent of the passenger vehicle fleet of foreign companies in Mexico.
He added that when it comes to
smaller fleets that do not have their own workshops, their tyre needs can be met through seven service centres open to the
public across Mexico.
The company president added that the work of Astrollantas was to accompany the client throughout the life cycle of his tyres: from the time of acquisition, through its maintenance, the process of replacement and, of course, dispose of them in a suitable manner.
He noted that the retreading is an aspect of great importance for large haulage fleets. He added that on average, it is possible to retread a Michelin tyre twice.
Castillo then explained that last November Astrollantas opened a retreading plant in Guadalajara, Jalisco, which adds to the existing plants in Mexico City, and one in Córdoba, Veracruz.
