Gummiservice Larvik AS Invest in Easy Stacker
Norwegian tyre dealer Gummiservice Larvik has invested in the Easy Stacker 1200 from Just Easy Tools, which account manager Petter Kristensen says has brought significant savings in human resources to the company. Gummiservice AS was established in 1934 and is known as a reliable partner which has great respect among tyre dealers in Norway. With 12 full-time employees and turnover around 4 million Euro per year, Gummiservice is one of the major players in the Norwegian tyre market.
well, easy to assemble and install on our forklift,” he said. “In fact, it took us only a day to make it work. Our forklift driver says he got used to it ver y quickly. The remote control is easy to use. Also the outlook from the forklift cabin is excellent.
“The Easy Stacker has really improved the way we work today,” he added. “The main problems connected with lifting, handling and stacking heavy truck tyres and wheels have been significantly reduced.”

Tom Reinert and Petter Kristensen represent the third generation of the Kristensen family to run the company. “The long history of family business makes us proud for what we do and who we are,” said Tom Reinert Kristensen. Petter Kristensen first learned about the benefits of Easy Stacker 1200 back in 2015 when he realised the problems he was experiencing when having to service many customers at the same time. “Once we decided to invest in the attachment, Just Easy Tools supplied us swiftly with the Easy Stacker 1200. advantages of the Easy Stacker 1200, Petter Kristensen said; “We do not need to operate our stock with three people, and only one forklift driver is needed. We save lots of space inside also outside the warehouse because we stack the tyres ergonomically. We load and unload trucks very quickly. Now it takes about half the time compared to before. Generally, I can say the Stacker enables companies to be much more effective on a daily basis.”
One GLM’s core products is the TriScan Tire measurement system, which has been developed for tread wear and rim analysis, profile measurements and for capturing a complete 2D cross-section profile (bead-to-bead) or 3D tread and sidewall map for almost all available tyre types, as e.g. passenger and truck tyres. The system uses strong
and accurate mechanical components together with highly precise laser sensors to measure the tyre’s entire outer shape.
The 3D mapping function gives a worn tyre analysis and predicts the lifetime of the tyre through continuous measurements of decreasing profile depth. TriScan Tire is used by car manufacturers, in tyre development and test centres, such as ADAC, for quality assurance and control. The system consists of a laser triangulation sensor, a wheel rotation unit and a three axes positioning unit, which enables the measurement of tread and sidewall including the rim flange.
The company also offers the CTS - Car Tire Scanning system, with same software functionality, but faster, while drivable with the whole vehicle, without the need to demount the tyre.
Latest developments include the SmartScan Profilometer, a wireless laser profile measurement system, which works on a Smartphone basis to analyse tyre depths without contact.

B&J Revises Company Logo
B& J has announced that is changing its logo by integrating the word “Rocket”.
“The core of a trademark is formed by the values and competencies that a company has created with its products or services,” points out the Swiss company. “From there, the identity and image of a company is derived.”
At B&J, the trade mark originates from the 1940s, when the invention of the Rocket buffing
system caused a sensation worldwide and became a synonym in the tyre retreading industry. Having carried B&J Rocket in its product name ever since, the company logo has now been modernised and this historic label added. "We are reflecting on our traditional values - where we come from and what has made us what we are today,” explained Andreas Müller, President of B&J Rocket.
