These are the participants who have agreed to the announcement of their participation, but like any “civil war” there will be those who sit on the sidelines to see which way the battle flows before signing up to either cause.

     One tyre technology company looking to expand its influence into the retreading sector is the newly formed German company, GL Messtechnik (GLM) based in Bad Kreuznach.
GLM was founded in March 2015 through the merger of the well- known DrNoll Company (founded 1993). The DrNoll company had
experience in the tyre industry. The globally active company has representative offices in the USA, South Africa, Turkey, Japan, South Korea and China, serving most of the world’s key tyre manufacturing markets.

  Bandvulc Becomes Official Wincanton Tyre Partner
Wincanton, a leading provider of supply chain solutions in the UK and Ireland, has appointed UK retreader Bandvulc as its tyre supply and tyre maintenance provider following an extensive tender process. Bandvulc will supply tyres to Wincanton’s vehicles across the country with bespoke operational considerations and policy options to meet the various needs of its specific fleet operations.
Bandvulc Plus+ will manage the operations, inclusive of all transactions 24/7, administration support and bespoke data reporting. The new tyre policy selected by
Bandvulc Plus+ is Hankook tyres that are now firmly established as one of the world’s leading tyre brands and now the largest supplier in the UK. Phil West, Commercial Director at Bandvulc commented: “Wincanton has long remained a target client of ours and we are absolutely delighted to be awarded such a prestigious contract. It is testament to our staff and our consistency in delivery and response to everything that we do that has enabled this success. The agreement will see Bandvulc Plus+ utilise its extensive network of service agents throughout the UK including, of course, our in-house arm, Tyre
