Goodyear Claims its Endurance WHA is Longest Wearing Waste Haul Tyre

Should the new tyre require an adjustment, Continental will provide a concessional replacement subjected to terms in the agreement. The first retread life of the tyre, which is also the tyre’s second life, will be adjusted on 60 per cent of the new tyre price. The second retread life, which is the tyre’s third life, will be adjusted on 15 per cent of the new tyre price. One of the conditions of the C3
warranty is that all the retreaded tyres must be retreaded with ContiTread or TechnoTread by Continental or by a ContiLifeCycle partner. The C3 warranty currently only applies to qualifying Continental and General Tire branded radial truck tyres that are 19.5” diameter in size or greater. “There is no better way to stand by our products than to offer our customers this enhanced C3 warranty as a promise of durability and longevity,” said Cameron Wilson, managing director, Continental Tyre Malaysia.

The combination of a new, scrub- resistant compound and a deep, 24/32-inch tread depth will help the Goodyear Endurance WHA deliver more miles.
Optional with the tyre is Goodyear’s DuraSeal Technology, which is built into the tyre during the manufacturing process and instantly seals nail-hole punctures of up to a quarter-inch in the repairable area of a truck tyre’s tread.
“Goodyear is the only tyre company that offers a built-in sealant, which we believe is of considerable benefit to waste haul trucks that roll across debris- strewn surfaces,” Buckham said. The tyre is available now in size 315/80R22.5, load range L. Goodyear is also offering a matching retread to cater to the waste haul industry’s heavy preference for retreading. “Whether as a new tyre or a retread, we truly believe that the Endurance WHA will provide superior performance for waste haul fleets,” Buckham said.
“The new Endurance WHA and its matching retread are another important component of the Goodyear Total Solution, which has been designed to help reduce fleet operating costs.”

Goodyear’s Next Tread range now includes the drive tyre Marathon LH II and trailer tyre Marathon LHT II, both in different sizes. Both are available in Next Tread and in sizes 315 / 80R22.5, 315 / 70R22.5 and 295 / 80R22.5 LHD II for model and 385 / 65R22.5 for LHT II.
