Michelin Opens Flagship Recamic Facility in Sohna

Michelin recently inaugurated a new Michelin certified Recamic tyre retreading facility in Sohna, Haryana about 70 km from Delhi, to bring quality retread solutions for its truck and bus customers in the region.
This new store from Michelin aims to provide quality retreading solutions for all kind of truck and bus tyres
that will help reduce operational costs by providing truck/bus fleet owners with higher tyre mileage and fuel savings, improving on multiple lives of the casings.
Designed and certified to offer retreads for all casings, the state-of- the-art plant will offer the Michelin group brand Recamic tread for use on all Michelin casings. This is the second Recamic facility opened by Michelin near Delhi.
Speaking at the inauguration Mohan Kumar, Commercial Director, Michelin India said, “We are excited about this new plant in

technology, proven tread designs and new-tyre manufacturing standards provide our tyres with multiple lives.”
Michelin strongly believes that the importance of quality Retread solutions is going to become crucial with the entry of better technology vehicles. “Higher retreadability has a direct impact on the financials of a fleet owner, in addition to significantly contributing to a greener environment. Michelin Recamic delivers reliable retreads, designed for truck and bus application so that the fleet owners maximise their tyre assets,” Kumar said.
Naren Yadav, Owner of Haryana Cold Retreads and the owner of the newly opened Recamic facility said, “This area being a transportation hub, fleet owners and operators can be assured of obtaining the highest quality service and advice, all under one roof at this newly opened store.”
