TRM to Bring Truck Tyre Retreading Line for the North American Market in 2015
 Tyre Retreading Machinery (TRM) – a division of Marangoni Meccanica S.p.A is planning to introduce an exclusive range of truck tyre retread equipment for the North American market. “TRM management, in the form of its CEO Alessandro Cumer, and its Sales Manager Michele Sanseviero, are keen to develop the market for our retreading equipment in the region and we are planning to bring an exclusive range for the North American market by the second half of 2015,” said Virgilio Gioseffi of TRM at the North American Tire & Retread Expo. The Italian retreading equipment maker has no US operation and caters to the market from its Italian
hot and cold processes and from passenger car tyre to up 63” diameter OTR tyre,” explained Gioseffi.
The Italian equipment maker’s idea is to extensively promote its product range in the US market. “We are participating at this show as part of strategy to strengthen our position in the US market,” he said. “With this in mind we are planning to build buffing and precured tread building machines as per the requirements of the large North American market.

   Outback Tyres Opens New Retreading Plant in Trinidad
Outback Tyres opened a new retreading plant on the Caribbean island of Trinidad two months ago. Trinidad is the larger and more populous of the two major islands and numerous landforms which make up the island nation of Trinidad and Tobago. “We have initially opened a 2,000 per month tyre plant,”
informed Mitra Ramkhelawan, Director, New Business Development, Outback Tyres.
Commenting on choosing Trindad as location of the plant, Mitra explained, “Trinidad is part of the 15 member Caribbean community market ‘CARICOM’ and one of the most industrialised countries in the
