MAE, the Italian manufacturer of retreading accessories and consumables, has introduced a new line of inner and outer envelopes in addition to its existing range of consumable products.
The new outer envelope is made using new technology and the feedback from the market is claimed to be very positive.
The new envelope is soft and already well lubricated from the factory as well as having good deformation resistance and good performance.
This product is identified as outer envelope type “ST”. The technology used is compression mould type.
MAE has also been renewing its range of inner envelopes.
In this case MAE engineers have
modified the size of the product to make for easier vacuum creation when the tyre is in a vertical position, and they have studied the distribution of thickness so that the envelope can be both flexible and resistant where necessary.
This new product is identified as inner envelope type “Millennium”.
Both “ST” and “Millennium” enrich the MAE catalogue in addition to the other well known items made by MAE namely: bladders, curing tubes, the traditional “SL” line of outer envelopes and the “Universal” inner envelope, which is still in production and very much requested after 30 years on the market.
and teleassistance.
Also new from Italmatic is the MATIC BUILDER building machine, which is completely automatic and assures precision in the application of pre-cured treads, where pre-tensioning and electronic control is required, with a view to assuring the subsequent accuracy of the balancing on the finished tyre. Also designed to handle tyres from 16” to 24.5” with section
chuck in 12 segments, sensitive footboards for the safety of the operator, and a completely automatic cycle controlled by PLC. The machine also offers a touch screen 10” colour display, the possibility to store unlimited recipes, roll support with unwrapping roll of protective film, and a guiding drum with automatic positioning. Additional features include laser control to measure the tyre diameter,
   Italmatic Shows Strength at Bologna
Italmatic, the Italian manufacturer of retreading equipment covering anything from motorcycle up to 63” OTR tyres, will be exhibiting a number of brand new pieces of equipment on Stand B76 in Hall 22 at Autopromotec, which the company says will help confirm its leadership role in the global retreading market.
The new MATIC TOP buffer is completely automatic and has been designed to increase productivity and buffing precision. Designed to handle tyres from 16” to 24.5” with
section widths from 150 mm to 525 mm., the new machine aims to satisfy the most demanding customers with its wide flexibility. Control from the touch screen panel makes a simple working cycle that allows the operator to maintain control of all functions and production times. The new functions and improvements introduced make this new version perform better than its predecessor.
The MATIC TOP buffer is completely electric and features automatic locking of the tyre support shafts, without the need
