GIIB takes teamwork seriously, it doesn’t matter how great your skills are, you have to play as part of the team. The success of the team can always be greater than the success of an individual.
In mid-June, 40 GIIBers experienced this truth for themselves when they were booked into Eagle Ranch in Port Dickson for a teambuilding weekend retreat. Divided into four groups, each comprising a mix of executive levels and departments, the main objectives was to get to know and
respect each other's role and responsibilities in the company in order to work better collectively. Staying together for two days gave the team a rare chance to understand each other's personality and working style a bit better. Most of the physical activities challenged the team to be interdependent in order to get the job done. Amid the fun and games, they learnt how to work with each person's strengths and compensate for their weaknesses.
The Blackline workshop reviewed the first year’s business and focused on the benefits and the advantages developed by the retreaders using Blackline
resistance oriented fleets on drive axles and the RTE Plus, which gives a top mileage performance to super-single tyres.
During the meeting all the Communication and Marketing tools that were produced for the Ringtread Blackline were also presented.
