    Vipal Wins Brazilian Export Award

 Vipal´s President, Arlindo Paludo received an important recognition for the company’s international market participation: the 2013 Export Award. Given by the ADVB, a key trade association based in the city of Porto Alegre, the awards highlight the work of the main exporting companies from the state of Rio Grande do Sul in a variety of categories. The ceremony took place on July 8th. Vipal won an award in the Market Diversification category, which rewards the most
its 40th anniversary in 2013, is responsible for supplying every continent, its main markets being Latin America, Europe and the United States. The company’s total export revenue in 2012 amounted to USD 110 million.
In addition to constantly participating in the sector’s most important international trade fairs, Vipal has dedicated one of its three factories in Brazil to export production. It also studies and keeps a close eye on the cultures of

 outstanding companies on those terms in 2012.
According to Mr. Paludo, “This award is one of the fruits of Vipal’s 40 year history. We have always bet on developing products featuring high quality and technology, and have never set environmental preservation aside. It’s a great pleasure to see important competitions such as the Export Awards recognising that.”
Brazil is, in fact proud, to be the world's main exporter of tyre repair products and this title is essentially due to Borrachas Vipal. A South American leader and one of the world's most important tyre retreading product manufacturers, the company, which is celebrating
markets where it operates to develop specific products.
As a result, Vipal holds a strong position in many countries, accomplishing elevated participation rates in extremely demanding markets like Europe, North America and Latin America. Vipal has 3,000 employees and in addition to its Brazilian factories, owns distribution centers in Spain, Germany, Slovenia, Australia, the United States (one in Florida and another in Virginia), Mexico and Colombia. It also maintains branches in eight other locations: Spain, Germany, Slovenia, Australia, the United States, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Vipal Overseas (Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia).
China remains an enigma, despite years of investment and a growing free market in the countr y, many industr y sectors remain difficult to access nformation about. Retrreading is one such sector. Whilst the industr y remains small by comparison to the new tyre industry, it is

become a major source of solid waste pollution. There are many ways of recycling tyres and retreading is one of the important methods for extending tyre life. Compared with new tyres, retreaded tyres consume fewer resources and are sold at lower prices. However, the overall development of the Chinese tyre retreading industr y lags behind that of the new tyre industry due to many special reasons.

Birmingham, UK-based Dunlop Aircraft Tyres, has landed a long- term contract to provide new and retreaded tyres to Czech Republic carrier Travel Service Airlines.
The tyres will support Travel Service Airlines’ fleet of 23 Boeing 737 Next Generation aircraft, as
well as four B737NGs operating for its low-cost subsidiary SmartWings.
Dunlop, the world’s only specialist aircraft tyre manufacturer, will supply tyres for the nose and main wheels of the aircraft, which operate on routes
