     Marangoni Gives Presentation to MAQTERRA Drivers
Reinforcing its commitment to its network of authorized retreaders, Marangoni held on 1st August, a talk for the drivers of MAQTERRA, a fleet customer based in the municipality of Fartura in São Paulo State.
This action was a partnership with the authorised retreader Do Vale Tyres, from the city of Santa Cruz
do Rio Pardo.
In the meeting the company discussed issues such as general tyre maintenance, highlighting the reasons for scrapping raised in the analysis performed on the client, accidental damage, the importance of wheel balancing and overuse problems, among others.

ADCO is expected to see an immediate benefit in retread supply and casing management for Bridgestone fleet business in Northern Ireland, specifically the Ulster Bus contract.
Terry added: “We are passionate in maintaining quality standards with a commitment to install Bandag 7400U Shearography and ADCO will play a pivotal role in this.
“We expect initial retread volumes to hit the 5,500 mark per year with a growth ambition to 8000 per year within the first franchise term.
Bandag’s ease in sourcing a regular supply of casings was also seen as a big factor for ADCO, along with the strength of a European network.
Vipal has announced the launch of the tread VT160 tread pattern, specially designed to optimise the traction of heavy vehicles in the snow.
Produced for greater durability in severe conditions, the VT160 tread stands out for potential grip on roads with snow, ice or slush, providing more stability and safety
for heavy vehicles. The tread is claimed to be perfect for vehicles that face different climatic conditions and terrain on the same trip and therefore require a high degree of adaptability. The modern design allows for the efficient expulsion of soil debris, as well as snow and rocks.

    ABR Meeting Discusses Brazilian Taxes
Wolseley UK, one of the UK’s largest distributors of heating and plumbing products, has extended its tyre management partnership with the Bandvulc Group.
Alan Newton, Head of Distribution and Fleet Management, Wolseley UK, said: “As a business, we deliver over 7000 orders to around 6000 locations across the UK every day. In order to deliver on time, every time, our fleet needs to be well serviced and maintained. BTC has proven capability in this area, having worked with the company for a number of years.” We really value our partnership.”

The agreement sees the use of Hankook on steer axles with Bandvulc tyres on all other positions. Meanwhile, Viridor, part of the FTSE 250 Pennon Group and one of the UK’s leading recycling, renewable energy and waste management companies, has entered into a tyre supply and management agreement with Bandvulc Tyre Contracts (BTC), the management division of the Bandvulc Group.
The agreement realises considerable commercial advantages for Viridor from its previous supplier. On June 19 ABR promoted a meeting to discuss the current system of ICMS (Tax on Goods and Services). The meeting was held in the city of São Paulo at the Hotel Intercity Premium Ibirapuera.
The meeting included representatives of regional associations , sector unions, retreaders from several states without representation and manufacturers of equipment and raw materials. According to the president of the ABR, Roberto de Oliveira, the goal was to present a proposal to unify in all Brazilian states and the
Federal District, the ideal form for the difference in the rate of VAT when the raw material comes from another state.
The idea was presented at the meeting by the ABR with a proposal studied by the law firm Renck & Magrisso. "ARESP presented a query from the state of São Paulo on the subject by lawyer Dr. Jose Pereira de Souza. The presentation also raised other proposals for the future from which we can choose the best option for the industry, "said Roberto de Oliveira.

retreaders opted to buy into the Bandag network.
