Bandvulc Intro ZA2 Trailer Tyre
Bandvulc has announced the launch of a new trailer tyre for 2013. The ZA2 is a new evolution of Bandvulc’s successful ZA design, featuring an optimised footprint for improved stability and a high-mileage,
low rolling resistance 4- groove tread pattern that has been designed to reduce the risk of stone entrapment. The new tyre has a tread depth of 16mm with a load/speed index of 160J and is regroovable.
Galgo Keeps Growing
Galgo has been continuously growing; even with the economic recession in some markets in which the company participates.
Galgo will invest 15 million USD during the second half of 2013 in a new distribution centre, co-production of energy, new equipment and moulds. The investment will be made in the Distribution Centre at the Tula plant in Mexico; in order to satisfy our customers’ need for improved delivery time.
Special attributes that this distribution centre will feature include the following: Rack supported warehouse building, intelligent inventory control based on automated storage and RFID (radio Frequency); All this assisted by SAP WMS (Warehouse Management System) to better optimise Galgo’s stock.
The investment in co- production of energy in an ecological way will improve the company’s capacity and develop
future savings by operating with an environmentally aware business method.
The new equipment will improve the capacity and productivity of Galgo’s laboratories, R&D and, of course, the factory.
Galgo is increasing the number of designs and sizes in its Pre-Q tread range fulfil the needs for different applications by its customers in 70 countries
worldwide.
Pre-Q Galgo has achieved SmartWay Verification for its TA (Trailer axle) tread, issued by the United States Enviromental Protection Agency. Such certification shows corporate commitment to develop products that save fuel and reduce NOx emmisions based on a lower rolling resistance.
