Proof of this enduring commitment is the partnership with NAS Tyre Services, located in Tanzania, which has been among the main allies of the Vipal European subsidiary for over 15 years. To commemorate this milestone, Vipal awarded NAS a commemorative plaque.
To mark this special occasion, Gilson Dugno, the International Sales Manager; Frederico Schmidt, the General Manager of Vipal in Europe; and Fabricio Nedeff, the Commercial Manager of the European branch, travelled to Dar Es Salaam to present the plaque to NAS´s Chief Operating Officer, Prakash Shenoy.

NAS consolidates Vipal’s presence in Tanzania, contributing significantly to our development and trajectory”, highlights Dugno, emphasising NAS’s preference for the Vipamold line of precured treads.
Since 2008, NAS Tyre Services has been a partner of the company. It leads Tanzania’s tyre retreading solutions market, operating in the cargo, transport, passenger, mining, and agricultural vehicle segments. “At NAS, we are dedicated to the pursuit of quality excellence, and we believe that Vipal is the ideal partner to support our competitive edge in the market,” says Prakash Shenoy.
Currently producing around 30.000 retreaded tyres annually at its two facilities in Dar Es Salaam and Arusha, NAS is expanding its operations into Congo, focusing on Off-The-Road (OTR) tyre repairs.
Vipal representatives also visited South Africa, Mozambique and Kenya as part of the company’s efforts to expand its commercial presence on the African continent and consolidate its position as a benchmark for excellence in the market. “This is a fast-growing market, and Vipal is fully equipped to serve it with the same excellence that is already recognised in Brazil and abroad”, guarantees Nedeff, Commercial Manager for the European subsidiary.
